Anyway, I ended up buying a copy of Windows 8.1. The restore failed giving me an error message that read that one of the files needed was missing or corrupt. At this point I decided to try a factory reset since I could not get past the update screen. It happened again and again I left the laptop on for about an hour. This to some time to complete (several hours). I found the post explaining how to delete the packs that I do not want and proceeded to delete them. Then I recalled the problem of all the language packs being installed, and the problem of pc's hanging up at 100% complete. During the first reboot it took about 25 minutes. Now here is where I will explain the problem.Īfter getting my laptop back I started re-installing different things, mainly virus/malware protection, and a few driver updates etc. The OS had to be reinstalled at the service center which was fine.
Also, something happened to the HDD so that was replaced as well.
That was replaced and upgraded to a gtx870m. Turns out the graphics card went bad (nVidia gt圆75m).
I have a GT70 that I had to send back for service.
